Travels with Judy

Blustery Sunday.

Winter is finally here! It's actually below 20 degrees for the first time in 2008, and Judy and I are snuggled in the house today working on editing. I think this episode is going to be fantastic! In fact, it's a well-known fact that I find editing tedious, but today I'm really excited to be doing it. We got some great footage.

Yesterday I took a much-needed break and went hiking with my new friend, Christine. We were originally scheduled to take our first ice-climbing class, but since nature hasn't provided any ice to practice on, we went for a 3-hour hike instead. I've attached photos in the photo gallery. Not exactly thrilling footage of the next TWJ episode, I know, but heck, I'm proud of myself for actually downloading the photos from my camera.

I hope everyone had a joy and festive holiday season!

Judy and I are hitting 2008 running. This weekend we're going to be shooting the second You Tube episode of Travels with Judy.

This episode we will be tracing General Putnam's steps through western Connecticut. Erin will be returning as our American History expert, and we have added a couple new additions to the TWJ family. James Wolffe and Michelle Buxton will be coming on board as camera folks, and we're not only ecstatic to have the help, but hugely grateful as well. If all goes according to plan, the episode should be up on You Tube by early February.

Also, we've outlined the next six or seven episodes which should take us through 2008, and I can't wait to see how they're going to turn out. I think this year is going to be a blast! Stay tuned!!

Oh, and Judy turned 14 on January 1! Happy Birthday Judy!!
