OK, OK...it's been too long since I've added anything new, but in all honesty, there hasn't been much to report. February was dismal and March has been insanely busy, so I haven't been giving this blog as much thought as I probably should. My apologies for both of you who are still checking it.
To sum up...The next TWJ-You Tube episode has been stalled for no reason other than my laziness and lack of creative inspiration. I have the footage and I know what I want to do with it, but I have been lacking the wherewithal to lock myself in a room for a few hours to just get it done. I've reached the point in my editing process where I think everything I want to do is pretty much crap, so I've commissioned a friend to come help me get over my editor's block, slap me around a bit, and force me to just get it done instead of whining, so there should be something finished sometime soon.
However, it won't be this weekend. Today I'm kicking the dust of this little town off my shoes and seeing the world! OK, I'm heading into NYC to eat, drink, and be merry with a friend, but once this spring flush of socializing wears off in a week or two, I'll be focusing once again. In fact, once I get the You Tube episode done, I will be once again recutting TWJ-The Film and I'm actually looking forward to that. I hope to have a much more polished version done by the end of the summer, complete with more historical footage and an edgier narrative.
