Greetings all! It's raining and raining and raining. The good news is that means winter is officially over. The bad news is it means I need to get crackin' on my long-overdue projects.
As the new season begins, I have decided to "clean house" so to speak and get back to finishing my book. The first rough cut of the film has been done now for almost two years, and until I find more funding, that's as far as it's going to get. With the ecnonomy being so strained, I'm going to give myself a break and not bang my head on any more closed doors. Instead, I'm going to reopen the door to my creative writing muses once again, and shoot to have the first draft of the book finished by the end of the summer.
It's ambitious, I know, but what the heck. I'm always more creative when it's warm out anyway, so why not give it a shot? Besides, I already have the outline and first 20 pages done anyway. When you think about it, most of the hard work is already done.
So, have a great summer, and check back here sometime around Labor Day for an update! (Hopefully I'll update this page before then, but there's no guarantee there will be any more news on the book before then. I'm just sayin'....)
