It brings me great sadness to inform everyone that Judy passed away last week. After weeks of pain, she went peacefully on Tuesday morning, August 18. I was with her and she snuggled her nose in my arm. I really wish I could say more, but I'm still grieving her loss and it's difficult for me to write a truly good obituary for her. I'll write more later as the grief eases and I'm able to think about her with joy instead of tears.
I'll keep it to this for now: She was my closest friend and companion for almost 16 years and I am grateful for every second I had with her. I was very blessed and miss her dearly.
